Front-End Development Services
Front-end development services turn a design into the interface people actually use: responsive pages, components and interactions that load fast, work on every screen and connect to your CMS or API. Webcapitan provides front-end development for marketing websites, online stores, customer portals and web applications, either as a complete project built from your Figma file or as developers who join your team.
A landing page costs from $800 and takes one to two weeks; the front end of a marketing website costs from $4,000 and takes three to eight weeks. Every project starts with a fixed estimate broken down by template and component. We build with React, Next.js and Vue when the interface needs them and with clean HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript when it does not. New to the term? Start with what front-end services are.

What our front-end development services include
- Design to code. Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD layouts turned into responsive, pixel-accurate pages and reusable components.
- Front ends in React, Next.js and Vue. Interactive interfaces, dashboards and portals, with server rendering wherever pages must be indexed. See React development, Next.js development and Vue and Nuxt development.
- CMS and API integration. Templates wired to WordPress, a headless CMS or your own back end through REST or GraphQL.
- Performance optimisation. Core Web Vitals work on existing sites: image and font loading, bundle size, rendering strategy and caching.
- Accessibility. Keyboard navigation, screen-reader support and colour contrast checked against WCAG 2.2.
- Cross-browser and device testing. Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on phones, tablets and desktops before anything ships.
- Front-end modernisation. Moving jQuery, legacy templates or an outdated framework to a modern stack step by step, without stopping the product.
- Dedicated front-end developers who work in your repository and process for three months or longer.
Front end as a service: a team instead of a hire
Front end as a service means renting a front-end team by the month instead of recruiting one. You get developers, code review and testing under one agreement, the capacity grows or shrinks with your roadmap, and the code stays in your repository. It suits product companies that have a back-end team and no front-end specialists, agencies that need extra hands for a launch, and businesses whose website changes every week. With Webcapitan it starts at $4,000 a month for a dedicated developer, or from $30 an hour for smaller tasks.
Technologies we use
| Area | What we use |
|---|---|
| Markup and styling | Semantic HTML, modern CSS (Grid, custom properties), SCSS or Tailwind, matching your design system |
| Frameworks | React with Next.js, Vue with Nuxt; plain JavaScript where a framework would only add weight |
| Language | TypeScript for components and API clients |
| CMS and data | WordPress themes and blocks, headless CMS (Sanity, Strapi), REST and GraphQL APIs |
| Quality | Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals checks, automated tests with Vitest and Playwright, cross-browser testing |
| Delivery | Git, a staging URL from the first week, documented handover |
How a front-end project runs
- Brief and estimate. We review the design, the content source and the integrations, then send a fixed estimate broken down by template and component.
- Foundation. Repository, design tokens, typography, grid and core components on a staging URL in the first week.
- Pages and components. Built in priority order in weekly increments with demos; real content is connected as soon as the CMS or API is ready.
- Quality pass. Speed on a mid-range phone, accessibility, cross-browser and device checks.
- Launch and handover. Deployment, documentation, a walkthrough for your team and a warranty period.
What front-end development costs
| Project | What you get | Price | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing page | One responsive page with forms, animation and speed checks | from $800 | 1–2 weeks |
| Marketing or corporate website | Responsive templates and reusable components connected to a CMS | from $4,000 | 3–8 weeks |
| Web application interface | Screens, states and forms connected to your API, with a component library | from $8,000 | 2–4 months |
| Hourly work | Fixes, new blocks, speed and accessibility improvements | from $30 per hour | From a single task |
| Dedicated front-end developer | A developer inside your team, repository and process | from $4,000 per month | 3 months or longer |
Prices assume a finished design. The number of unique templates, interactions and integrations moves the price more than the page count. Every estimate is fixed and itemised, so you can cut or prioritise scope before work starts. For rates by region and pricing models, read how much front-end development costs in 2026.
Front end only, or design and back end too?
We can start from your design and your API, or cover the whole project: UI/UX design before the front end and a Node.js back end or a WordPress CMS behind it. One team for all three stages means no hand-off gaps between designer and developer. When you only need the front end, we follow your design system, conventions and review process.
Why Webcapitan for front-end development
- Our own site is the reference: webcapitan.com runs on Next.js with a React admin panel that we built and maintain.
- Design and development in one team since 2014, with 900+ websites delivered for clients in the UK, EU, US and Australia.
- Performance and accessibility are deliverables, checked before launch, not promised after.
- Fixed estimates and a staging URL from week one.
- You own the code: repository, documentation and deployment are handed over at launch.
