Roman Yashchuk

Roman Yashchuk founded Webcapitan in 2014 and leads the team of 22 designers and developers in Vinnytsia and London. He works hands-on in UI/UX design, WordPress and PHP/Laravel development, and writes about choosing platforms, costs and keeping websites fast and secure.

CEO & Founder, Webcapitan

Roman Yashchuk is the CEO and founder of Webcapitan, a web design and development agency he started in 2014. Since then the team has grown to 22 designers, developers and SEO specialists in Vinnytsia, Ukraine and London, United Kingdom, and has delivered more than 900 websites for clients in the UK, EU, US and Australia.

Roman studied at the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" and still works hands-on: UI/UX design, WordPress, PHP and Laravel, MySQL and JavaScript. He leads platform decisions on client projects, from WordPress builds to custom systems on Next.js and Node.js, and led the move of webcapitan.com itself from WordPress to Next.js.

On this blog he writes about what business owners actually need to decide: which platform to build on, what a website should cost, and how to keep it fast, secure and visible in search.
